Preparing for Sunday

Vacation Bible School is underway on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 7:00.  This year's theme is Rolling River Rampage:  Take the ride of your life with God!  Last week learned about Jesus' visit to Mary and Martha's home.  We talked about the power of God in our lives and explored solar power as a comparison.   We made solar prints and tried to race our solar cars but the sun went under a cloud.  We will now take a two week vacation for the 4th of July and the 11th of July.  VBS will resume on July 18th and conclude on the 25th with a canoe trip down Henderson Bayou to Mother Boo's home.

Please invite someone who might enjoy joining us.

Adult Sunday School - 9:30

Eucharist - 10:30 a.m.

Welcome to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church!  Please join us for worship on Sundays at 10:30 a.m.  Directions to the church may be found by clicking on the "Contact" link at the top of the page. From September through May Adult Christian Education starts at 9:30 a.m.  Children's Christian Education starts at 10:30.  The children return to church in time to take communion with their family.  This is very definitely a family church with approximately 50 members.  Everyone is needed to help with something.  Children are most welcome and many are in attendance.  Episcopal Youth Group (EYC), for those in 5th grade and up, is active in sponsoring many of our programs.

We welcome all those who want to worship with us.  Join us afterwards for fellowship and refreshments.

The Reverend Frances "Boo" Kay is the Priest in Charge and celebrates the Eucharist two Sundays a month. Morning Prayer is offered the alternate Sundays. Click on the Calendar to get more specific information about this.
